Shine Kids Preschool
2 YEAR OLD CLASS:
Our 2 year old program is designed to introduce young children to a first experience without a parent. Children will be introduced to a theme through a story, art, and play. Themes we cover will be Zoo Animals, Valentine’s Day, Winter, Transportation, Spring/Easter, and the Ocean. Children will have time to play in the gym each class. Parents will drop off and pick up children at the classroom.
2 Year Old Class meets Wednesday 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
3/4 YEAR OLD CLASS:
Our 3/4 year old program is designed for children entering kindergarten in 2023. The program provides a fun filled experience for the child in a Christian setting. The instruction is designed to meet the younger child’s interests, attention span, and activity level. The children will be exposed to readiness skills in the areas of numbers, colors, shapes, and name recognition. Experiences will include music, large and small motor skills, and art. Children will play inside and outside.One field trip will be planned. Holiday celebrations, mystery readers, and an end of the year parent program are planned.
3/4 Preschool Class meets Tuesday and Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
PRE-K CLASS:
Our Pre-K program is designed for children entering kindergarten the next school year. The program provides a fun filled experience for the child in a Christian setting. The children will be exposed to readiness skills in the areas of numbers, letters, and writing. Children will learn through themes that will include art, music, science, and social studies. Colors, shapes, and name recognition will be reviewed. Experiences will include music, large and small motor skills, and art. Children will play in the gym and take an occasional walk outside. One field trip will be planned. Holiday celebrations, mystery readers, and an end of the year parent program are planned.
Pre-K meets Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 a.m - 11:30 a.m.
LUNCH BUNCH:
Lunch bunch is offered for the 3/4 preschool class and Pre-K class. Lunch bunch runs from
11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
