Saturday morning run… relaxing inside!

Finally, the rain has come to an end and the sun is mostly out from behind the clouds and the air has a bit of coolness to it at the time of this writing.

This morning, I’m thinking about all those people in our area effected by flooding and have offered a prayer to God on their behalf. If I am needed somewhere to serve, I am ready!

I’m thinking about the Tour de France coming to a close tomorrow and how the British cycling team, Sky, will once again win another grand tour, this time with Geraint Thomas on the podium in Paris. They have dominated the tour for many years now; it proves once again that cycling is more of a complicated sport than most Americans think.

I’m thinking about tomorrow’s worship experience at the Church of God of Landisville… we will celebrate the Lord’s supper together, be inspired and challenged by a young couple, Lisa and Glenn Peters, who are responding to God’s “call” to go out onto the mission field.

Enjoy the beauty of this day and take some time to go on your Saturday morning “run”…
